Time to put your hand up if you want to be there to cheer along Booragoon’s nominee Ashley Antoine in the state final of the Rotary Four Way Test Speaking Competition at Guildford Grammar School on Friday, 1 May.
PP Russell will be handing around an attendance list for people to record their names at this week's meeting.
Just for the record, here’s the Four Way Test, the simple but profound statement containing 24 words (18 of which are one syllable) that was propounded by Rotarian Herbert J Taylor in the depths of the great depression and adopted by Rotary International in 1943.
