How to become a member
When the first Rotary Club was formed in 1905, it was designed to be an organization of business professionals with differing vocational experience. It enabled a relationship within its members that would commonly be called "networking" in today's world.

In keeping with some of the original goals of that new organization, membership in Rotary clubs today is by invitation and is only open to business professionals. The number of members in any given profession is significantly restricted to enable a diversity of skills.

If you are a business professional and have an interest in becoming a member of what has been described as being the greatest philanthropic organization in the history of mankind, contact a member of our club about attending one of our weekly meetings.

We are sincerely interested in recruiting new members who have an interest in improving our local and global community. Some of our expectations of members include:

  • Adherence to the Rotary Four-Way Test
  • Regular attendance at our weekly meetings, or at other Rotary clubs when unavailable to be at our local club
  • Participation in our service activities
  • Serving on one or more committees
  • Attendance at social functions
  • Payment of club dues and other financial obligations in a timely fashion

Your greatest reward from being a member of a Rotary club is the knowledge that you have made a difference by improving our world. You will have the added benefit of meeting some other exceptional individuals who are also dedicated to serving the community. Rotary membership will expand your circle of friends and business associates.
